ABOUT RAVENS

Welcome to Ravens Hair Salon, at the Radisson Blu Hotel. A place where the client comes first, every time.

Ravens Hair Salon was established in 1986 by Susan Hackett. We are based in the Radisson Blu Hotel Ennis Road. Working within the hotel environment offers our clients free parking and on site access to the Rain Spa & Wellness Centre.

Service is our number 1 priority and one for which we are widely recognised. Our quest extends through everything that we do, through creativity, service and customer care. As winners of the L’Oreal Colour Trophy ‘Perfect Client Experience’ 2 years running, ‘Image Magazine Award’, and the winners of ‘Men’s Image Award’, our Credentials speak for themselves.

We advise that if you do not know what service you need to book please call us instead of using our online booking and we can assist you further on 061457862 this ensures you receiving the correct service and correct amount of time needed

Any new clients for colour services and our 12 week Cocochoco Keratin treatment we require a patch test 48hours before the service is carried out. This also applies to any existing clients we haven’t seen in 6months.

If you are interested in extensions please book a consultation so we can colour match your hair before we order your extensions, please note that we usually allow 3-5 days for delivery of extensions.

SUSAN HACKETT

My name is Susan Hackett, I am the owner/ boss lady of Ravens. I suppose I have 3 roles. As the owner my job is to ensure the business is profitable, to keep the team motivated and make you look and feel fantastic. My passion in hairdressing is cutting, restyling and finding the shape that suits you. Working with curly hair and understanding how it sits and moves is an area that has brought alot of new clients to my chair. Word travels quickly amongst the curly tribe. Looking forward to seeing you curly or not.

JENNY MOLONEY

I have a passion for colour, cutting and session styling and have 16 years experience.I am a Senior Stylist and responsible for the continued growth of Ravens. I love creating and finishing a full look from beginning to end.
I specialise in balayage, root melts and creative placement of colour to enhance the natural beauty of your hair, Session Styling, Great lengths extension and Cutting.
While working abroad I was lucky to be
given an abundance of training over the years where my passion for colour and cutting flourished. I then became the educator for one of the best salons in Australia (Elysium) and completed a year long course to become a Kevin Murphy Session Stylist.
I am excited to be back working along side my mother Susan Hackett and sister Sarah Clancy again. I look forward to continuing my education and learning more about the business.

SARAH CLANCY

My name is Sarah. I am in the hairdressing industry for 10 years and work as a senior stylist in Ravens. I specialise in Bridal and occasion hair. I’m a creative colourist and have refined my craft over the years. I became certified as a chemical master class colourist with JOICO four years ago.
I have spent two years working in Australia in different upper end salons where I learned new techniques, worked behind the scenes of Mardi Gras in Sydney, became inspired and had fun along the way.
Im a qualified Great Lengths extensionist and entered the GL Awards last year. I was nominated for GL Captivating Colour and Best New Comer.
Another passion of mine is cutting hair and I have been trained in precision cutting techniques through JCut.
Since Returning to Ireland I’m back where I began my training with Ravens and delighted to be back.

SARAH COUNIHAN

My name is Sarah Counihan. I have 20 plus years experience in the hair industry so it’s safe to say I have lots of experience with all different hair types.

I have a dual role within the salon as a senior stylist and salon manager. As manager of the salon I have gained experience in the business side of the salon which has led me to complete a degree in business in UL.

I am a blonde specialist, sometimes referred to as the highlighting machine. I have developed my skills over the years and achieved a result of 97% upon completion of my Chemical Master Class Degree. Know that you are in safe and knowledgeable hands when you sit in my chair.

CHLOE HARTNETT

My name is Chloe, I am 23 and I joined the Ravens team over a year ago. Ravens has given me the opportunity to become one of the first apprentices in Irish hairdressing history to register on the new National Hairdressing Apprenticeship where I will undertake my training. My favourite thing to do is style hair because it completes any haircut or colour service.
I would describe myself as having an enthusiastic mindset with a natural flair for learning. I am also passionate about improving my skills and always willing to help others. I am excited to see what the future holds for me on my journey at Ravens.

SHAUNA O'BRIEN

My name is Shauna. I am Front of house at Ravens. It is my duty to make you feel safe, comfortable and relaxed during your visit alongside making sure the day runs smoothly!
Starting in ravens as a part time make up artist I have also trained as an apprentice before finding my passion for great customer service in my role as receptionist. I look forward to meeting you soon!

EIMEAR KIRKLAND

My name is Eimear. I joined Ravens as a part of my hairdressing traineeship in 2019. Ravens has given me the opportunity to practice my skills within the hairdressing environment while also learning new techniques everyday with the guidance of the rest of our team. On an every day basis I help out on reception, greet and tend to clients needs and assist my colleagues when needed. As of January 2021 I have joined the national hairdressing apprenticeship and I am very excited to be able to learn and improve my skills. I am looking forward to seeing where it will take me in the years to come!
